WELCOME TO NALCnet!

NALC attendees have automatically been enrolled in NALCnet. NALCnet offers affinity groups the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas and work together in a unique virtual network. You can post your individual profile, share documents and stay connected! NALCnet also provides a calendar of upcoming events, and overview of "hot topics," a listing of resources and a survey vehicle.

How do I create a Basic web presence on NALCnet?

To create or edit your public presence on the web, take the following steps:

1. Log in as using your first initial + last name and password given to you.
2. Go to "Account" and fill in your information as you wish to have others see it.
3. Go to your Control Center.
4. Select "Manage Profiles" on the left hand tool bar.
5. Create your profile by clicking on "Start with a blank profile." Follow the directions. One note: when pasting from Word into the Template, choose the 4^th icon on the second line to hold your format.
6. Choose PUBLISH NOW if you want this document to be immediately viewable on the network or choose SAVE FOR LATER if you do not wish to have the document posted under your name at the present time.
